Mini-fashion Barbie

Hey guys!

Having been a fan of Barbie all my life, constructing a garment for barbie was extremely enjoyable and fun
Creating barbie clothes is definitely not in my field, working on such a small scale can be very tedious and difficult.
Since the barbie patterns are hard to get a hold of without special permission, I had to construct the garment from scratch. 
The smaller the pattern pieces get, the more intricate it is to put together.

For class, I decided to create a Barbie wardrobe inspired by the theatre de la Mode. This exhibitions consisted of nearly 200 dolls in sets which were created specially by artists such as Christian Berard and Jean Cocteau. 

To begin my journey of creating my mini Barbie wardrobe, I got a barbie basic! 001 which came with a certificate!
