Hi guys!
I've been wanting to write about this collaboration for the longest time.
Beginning with a little background for those of you that don't really know Lanvin, Lanvin is a high fashion house created by Jeanne Lanvin.
Lanvin is bold with colors, and known for intricate detailing and trimmings.
So, lets shift our eyes to H&M.
H&M is a Swedish fashion label created by Hennes & Mauritz making up the letters, H&M, respectively.
H&M fashion targets a wide range of fashion forward woman, allowing them to easily mix and match. To create a wardrobe to cater different occasions anywhere from casual daily to dinner parties.
Realistically speaking, it's the ultimate dream to be a proud owner of an original Lanvin but having said that, it wouldn’t be something I would consider purchasing on the spot because of cost.
Having been a customer of H&M since I was younger and being fairly familiar with their price range, I was more than excited to hear collaboration between Lanvin and H&M.
Unfortunately, the nearest H&M to me is Hong kong and I live in Singapore.
I will be actually going to Hong Kong next month so for now I'll review the couture collection that is only avaliable on the official website.
This couture line was customized especially by Alber Elbaz is the Artistic Director of Lanvin since 2001 and all proceeds will go to Unicef.
So here goes!
The first thing I saw when I got onto the official website were the original figure illustrations and dresses that were placed on auction for a really good cause.
Being a loyal supporter of Unicef, I was delighted to see that the proceeds will go to Unicef.
This illustration was my personal favorite!
I can't even pick a couture look that I love, they are absolutely breathtaking. This was my absolute favorite.
I think this is worth reading, beautiful clothes for a beautiful cause.
"All the proceeds from the auction will be donated to UNICEF, as part of H&M's "All for Children" project."
Since the auction has already ended, I just wanted to say, congratulations to those people that bidded on the garments!
I can't wait to review the main collection!
till next time!
Tammy
