Hey guys!
I've always had a thing for shoes, but this amazing guy brings my love for shoes to a new level.
Remember when we use to be terrified to lift up our shoe when we felt that sudden squish? yep, it's gum baby. it's gum.
The idea of having gum stuck to your shoe is made fashionable by Kobi Levi.
A little biography about Kobi Levi, courtesy of his official blogspot ->http://kobilevidesign.blogspot.com/
Graduated from Bezalel academy of art & design, Jerusalem 2001. Specialize in footwear design and development/making. Working as a freelance designer." In my artistic footwear design the shoe is my canvas. The trigger to create a new piece comes when an idea, a concept and/or an image comes to mind. The combination of the image and footwear creates a new hybrid and the design/concept comes to life. The piece is a wearable sculpture. It is "alive" with/out the foot/body. Most of the inspirations are out of the "shoe-world", and give the footwear an extreme transformation. The result is usually humoristic with a unique point of view about footwear. Another aspect of the creation is the realization. All the pieces are hand-made in my studio. The challenging technical development is the key to bring the design to life in the best way."- Kobi Levi

I am an absolute fan of Kobi Levi, and can't wait to see more creations. I've only featured a few of Kobi's designs, there are sooooo much more on his official blogspot!
Some of the designs can be a little risky so try to keep an artistic state of mind when viewing these designs. please go visit the site because the designs are nothing you've ever seen before, you won't regret it. click here-> http://kobilevidesign.blogspot.com/
Being an artist/fashion design student myself, I can only imagine how hard it is, to think outside the box, to challenge the norm, to find a bond between the art of fashion and a non-corresponding everyday object. So, I'll leave you with this, I definitely have high respect for this individual designer and can't wait to see what he produces in the future.
Good luck
Toodles till later.
xx. Tammy
