Hey guys!
As you all know, I commonly refer to my best friend Roseanne on my blog.
Yes, you've guessed it! She's none other than Roseannetangrs, the youtube beauty guru, onsugar beauty blogger!
Over summer Roseanne and I spend a lot of time together and during that time we decided to come up with a logo for her blog.
In merely half a year, Roseanne and I have grown closer. I've grown to love her honesty and firm stand for being beautiful for yourself.
This is my original artwork for Roseannetangrs logo.
To women that have been hurt, to women of all different shapes and sizes, to women of different age, "Beauty is one size fits all."
She takes comments very seriously and works hard to be where she is today. A strong, indepedent, beautiful woman [inside and out].
Although Roseanne and I are really good friends, I always take collaborations and partnership seriously as I would with a client.
The design process
We talked through her inspirational journey, I didn't want something shoddy and unthoughtful, I wanted something that represented that strong but feminine edge to the brand name [Roseannetangrs]
This is what we came up with! A rose petal-esque shape surrounding her name which respectively represents the first part of her name [rose], a sheer opaque background with RS in block letters and ROSEANNETANG split up into three section.
Even though, I designed the logo, the final approval of the logo was up to Roseanne, I didn't want it to be an awkward situation where she wasn't able to fully express her concern with her soon-to-be logo out of fear that it might hurt my feelings.
Roseanne is definitely a professional, we both took this very seriously and the results show!
With constructive advice, we finally came up with an amazing logo that is timeless, classy and forever Roseanne.
I'm honored to have been part of this journey to help Roseanne further represent herself through a logo, and has since been widely used on her blog, youtube and facebook.
