Ipad fashion anyone? PART I-Designer cases!

Hello hello,
I recently received an Ipad from my mom, yay mom!
I love love love love love buying accesories for my items, I was almost more excited to shop for covers than I was recieving the actual Ipad-> but hey, I love my Ipad! +I know people have been saying how its just really a bigger Iphone but it's how you use it that makes it useful right?:)
Personally, I use it as a sketch pad because I'm an art student, it really is a whole new experience, it's like using a whole new medium!
If you've recently got yourself an Ipad or considering about purchasing one, let's see how you can protect+be fashion forward with your case taste.

Being the huge Marc by Marc Jacobs fan, I already knew which Ipad cover I was going to get. The day I recieved my Ipad, I jumped onto Net-a-porter and purchased the Jumble-embossed neoprene iPad case, I LOVE IT!
This specific case also comes in four other colors, blue, yellow, purple and black. They also have the computer case for these! AHHHHH all sooo exciting!

I'll talk a little more about hard covers and Jelly covers in PART II or III, so for now.. let's work from the exterior fashion cases. To really give this topic justice, I'm going to have to split up this topic into a few post and every month I'll write a post specially dedicated to Ipad fashion, so check back if you're interested:)

Let's look at some different Ipad covers:)

Or... if you're a Gucci lover, you can get the classic monogrammed Ipad case. Or you can get the embossed black one, which is also really nice! it'll make a beautiful present!

My dad actually has the embossed black sling bag, how good of a present would this be for father's day guys? I'm not really a matchy person, but this is tooo cute!

If you're someone like Roseanne, that is looking for something that opens up like a book, here are some options.
This is a cool folder like Ipad case from Burberry. They also have a yellow one in this! If you ask me, it's incredibly chic.

THEY HAVE A YVES SAINT LAURENT CASE, Kiyoko? you need to get an Ipad! I know you love their make up:)
Or you might be looking for something with a handle? Did I hear... Chanel?:)

Maybe you're looking for something that's a little more fun, like Juicy Couture, oh yeaaa baby! They have a Juicy case as well:)

My verdict?
I personally feel that it's pretty cool that designer labels are creating Ipad cases, and even though they are created for the same purpose, it's really interesting how the Ipad cover for each designer label still stays true to what they're all about. In each of these designer Ipad cases, you see a rich design history and careful construction. It's like they've advanced with technology in a way. Of course, one might argue that they're overpriced but they are expensive for a reason and you're buying exactly what you're paying for, quality. :)

Note: I didn't make this post because I thought having a designer Ipad case was essential for having an Ipad, you should buy it because you truly love it not because it's designer. Buy it for the right reasons! Loving it is ultimately the most important thing because whatever you love is priceless and unreplaceable like my undying love for Hello Kitty.  ;)

Obviously, what I've written is really a small portion of the Ipad covers out there, if I could, I would go on and on and on and on and on, you know the drill.
