Did you know? Issue 1: Christian Louboutin

Hello hello,
This is just a new section I've decided to include for my blog, they'll be quick [Did you know] post. Think fun facts!

Let's kick off the first issue of [Did you know] with one of my favorite Designer labels, Christian Louboutin.
So, yes, tell me what comes to mind when you hear Louboutins?
Is it the love Blair has for Louboutins, or is it that scene that last for less than 1 minute in Confession of a Shopaholic when Alicia, aka Spidery long legs comes rocking a signature pair of studded Louboutins.

Did you know that the signature red soles of Christian Louboutins heels was first done in nail polish because he wanted to give the heels an extra edge. Isn't it interesting that Designers have different ways of identification, other than a logo, Christian Louboutin has pushed the boundaries, making red sole high heels a trademark and every woman's heel desire.

"In 1992 I incorporated the red sole into the design of my shoes. This happened by accident as I felt that the shoes lacked energy so I applied red nail polish to the sole of a shoe. This was such a success that it became a permanent fixture."- Christian Louboutin

Remember, that the possibilities are endless, be adventurous, design daringly, be bold, and maybe one day you'll find exactly what you were looking for when you least expect it. Sometimes the best result begins with an accident, you'll be surprise how spontaneous, shocking and remarkable it'll be.
